Max Chamovitz
Vice President

Mr. Chamovitz brings a wealth of Capitol Hill and government relations knowledge and experience to SMI. Prior to joining SMI, Mr. Chamovitz was a registered lobbyist for The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Specializing in defense issues, he was responsible for advocating numerous U.S.-Israel strategic cooperation projects to members of the Senate and House Armed Services Committees, as well as the Defense Appropriations Subcommittees.

Mr. Chamovitz also served as Legislative Assistant to U.S. Representative Adam Smith and as campaign fundraiser for his successful 1996 race. Previously, he had worked in the office of Vice President Al Gore's National Performance Review and was campaign director in the effort to reform the Pittsburgh City Controller's office.

Max graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelors of Political Science, and minors in both Economics and English.
