With 30 years of active duty in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Colonel Jack O'Neill USA (Ret.) is the Executive Director of the Army Engineer Association (AEA), a not for profit corporation. Colonel O'Neill is also an independent consultant to government and private sector clients who have business interests with the Defense Department and other federal agencies. Before joining AEA, Colonel O'Neill was on the corporate staff of Hughes Aircraft Company, where he was the Business Development Manager for a variety of Army command, control, communications and intelligence systems. During his military career, he served in many assignments with the 82nd Airborne Division, the 1st Armored Division, the 2nd Armored Division and the 24th Infantry Division. In the Pentagon, he was on the Army Staff as Director of the Office of the Chief of Engineers.

He holds a B.S. degree in Geology from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Public Administration degree in Management from the George Washington University. He is a graduate of the Engineer Officer Advanced Course, the Command and General Staff College and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
