Captain Theodore Hack

Captain Hack served in the United States Navy for thirty years, retiring as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Warfare, Requirements, Planning and Assessments (N8) for the U.S. Atlantic Fleet.  During his distinguished career, Captain Hack commanded both the USS GUARDFISH (SSN 612) and the USS ORION (AS 18).  Captain Hack also worked in the Pentagon as the Director of Navy Programs and Congressional Liaison Officer for Submarine Programs.   Upon retiring from the Navy in 1997, Captain Hack was General Dynamics’ primary Government Relations liaison with Congress on Electric Boat submarine and submarine-related programs for over sixteen years.   During his tenure at General Dynamics, Hack worked on several very successful programs including SSGN, USS Jimmy Carter, Virginia Class, and Ohio Class Replacement programs.   Captain Hack earned a degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University and also completed Nuclear Power Training and Navy Submarine School.   Captain Hack is a recipient of the Navy Distinguished Service Medal.
