David Anhalt (Colonel, U.S. Air Force, retired), founded Blue Residuum Space Alliances in 2016 to provide consultant support to next generation space entrepreneurs intent on leveraging commercial best practices to deliver large-scale service capacities at compelling price points to both commercial and government customers. Blue Residuum helps clients develop markets for new space services; formulate end-to-end architectural solutions for space and ground segment command and control, data processing, and dissemination networks; and write winning proposals in response to government solicitations.
Prior to forming Blue Residuum LLC, Mr. Anhalt directed business development activities at Orbital Sciences Corporation, Space Systems Loral, and Iridium Satellite LLC. During his 28-year Air Force career, Anhalt led flight test operations and program management activities for both the air and space systems. Anhalt graduated from the USAF Test Pilot School and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. A graduate of the USAF Academy, Mr. Anhalt holds master’s degrees in aerospace and mechanical sciences (Princeton University), digital design and control theory (University of Idaho), and international relations (Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada).
