Phil "PJ" Dougherty
Mr. Dougherty has over twenty years of federal service at the U.S. Department of Energy. During his tenure he served as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Acting Program Manager for Wind and Water Technologies, National Director of Wind Powering America, and Senior Advisor in the Office of Policy and International Affairs. He worked closely with the clean energy technology industry, public and private utilities and regulators, rural economic development officials, researchers, and other federal agencies. In 2004, he served in Baghdad, Iraq as a volunteer with Operation Iraqi Freedom. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York, and a Master’s Degree from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
