Roger Crane, Ph.D.
Dr. Crane has over 30 years of composite materials related experience with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. He has expertise on a broad range of polymer matrix composite research programs including structural health monitoring, material property development, and development of new composite material systems. He interacted with various NAVSEA Program offices such as PMS 450, PMS 500, NAVSEA 05P, and the Navy ManTech Office. Dr. Crane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics with an Engineering option and B.A. in Mathematics/Physical Applications from Loyola College of Baltimore, an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. from the Materials Science Program from the University of Delaware.
