Russ Alexander, Ph.D., P.E.
Dr. Alexander has over 30 years of experience in research and development for the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense. He managed the technology transfer program at the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command and the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center. Dr. Alexander also worked as a lead in the Ground Based Midcourse Defense SBIR/STTR program for the Missile Defense Agency. He has been involved in collaborative research between defense laboratories and industry throughout most of his career. He holds master’s degrees in business administration and systems engineering from Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, respectively. His Ph.D. is in operations research from the University of South Africa. Dr. Alexander is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Alabama.
