Sarah Blackwood

Ms. Blackwood combines over 15 years of experience in the Executive Branch, on Capitol Hill, and in the private sector and has guided clients from Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, non-profits, and labor unions to success in Washington.  Ms. Blackwood’s public service included a political appointment at the U.S. Department of Energy as the Legislative Affairs Director for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE).  Prior to EERE, she served as a Legislative Assistant for Rep. Martin Frost (D-TX) and Legislative Director and Professional Staff on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee for Rep. Jerry Costello (D-IL).  Ms. Blackwood received a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master's degree in public policy from the University of Sydney, Australia.
